Financial tax tools
- Net zakatable assets
- Rs 0
- Estimated zakat
- Below the nisab entered — short by Rs 200,000
Tax rates and eligibility are editable assumptions. Verify applicable rules. Zakat eligibility, Nisab valuation, and liabilities should be confirmed with a trusted scholar.
What each tab calculates
- Zakat: gold and silver at the prices you enter, plus cash and balances, less the liabilities you list. The rate you enter applies only once that total reaches the nisab you enter.
- Bank profit tax multiplies the profit by the withholding percentage you enter. The rate is an input, because the applicable percentage depends on the product, the holder's status and the year.
- Tax-saving planner takes the tax on your salary for the chosen year, then subtracts the two credits you build from your own percentages and caps, each limited by the cap you entered and never below zero.
- Compare years runs one annual income through two schedules and prints both figures, so a rate change can be read as a difference instead of a claim.

What this page does not decide
- The planner's credits are only as valid as the percentages and caps you enter. The law sets both, and this site does not store them.
- Zakat here is arithmetic over entered values. Nisab, which assets qualify, and the treatment of gold and silver are questions of religious ruling, and the figures on this page settle none of them.
- Withholding on bank profit varies by product and by the holder's status, which is why no rate is prefilled.
- Compare years is limited to the two schedules this site holds: 2025-26 and 2026-27.
Questions about these tools
Why doesn't the zakat tab know today's gold price?
Prices move daily and this site has no verified feed for them. Enter the per-gram figure you are working from and the calculation follows it; otherwise the result carries an out-of-date valuation.
Is the tax-saving planner a list of legal reliefs?
No. It builds credits from percentages and caps you supply. Which reliefs exist, at what rate and up to what limit is set by the law of the relevant year, and that is the part to verify with FBR or a qualified adviser.
Which two years can I compare?
The two whose schedules this site holds with sources beside them: 2025-26 and 2026-27. Each schedule carries the date it was last checked.
For estimation only. Verify with FBR or a tax professional.
