What each of these four tools does
- All four tabs read the same salaried schedule for the tax year the page carries, so a figure on one tab cannot contradict another.
- Net to gross searches for the monthly salary whose after-tax take-home reaches your target: it halves a range sixty-four times and reports the gross at which the target is met.
- Bonus tax is the difference between the year's tax on the salary alone and the tax with the bonus added — which is how a bonus lands on top of the bands your salary already used.
- Salary raise runs the schedule twice, once on the current salary and once on the increased one, and shows both annual figures rather than a percentage claim.
- The payslip lays one month out from the values you enter and prints it. It is a format, not a record an employer has agreed to.
One salary through all of it: Rs 100,000 a month
What these figures leave out
- One schedule applied to one salary. Other income, exempt income, reliefs and credits a return claims are not inside it.
- What your employer deducts at source can differ from this estimate: withholding follows payroll settings, other income and filing status.
- Filer and non-filer status does not change the salary slabs used here. It changes withholding on certain transactions, which no page on this site models.
- A payslip printed from this page carries no employer authentication.
Questions about these tools
Why does a bonus cost more than my average rate?
Because the bonus sits in the band your salary has already reached, not in the opening bands. The rate that applies to it is the marginal one, which is usually above the effective rate shown for the year.
Can I use these for the 2025-26?
Every page states the tax year of the schedule it applies. The previous year has its own pages; this grouped page runs on the current schedule.
Is the printed payslip acceptable as proof?
No. It is a layout built from values you typed. An authenticated statement has to come from the employer.
